The organisers of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria have named Big Brother stars, Pokello and Elikem of the BBA show has been named the new ambassadors for the Africa Fashion Week Event. The said event is scheduled to take place in May at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
“The event aims to bind emerging talents in the fashion industry, connect them to the right people, showcase them to their customers and provide them with a platform to grow and create awareness. This platform which celebrates and supports African creativity was last held in London in 2011 and had over 100 UK and non-UK designers showcase their collections.
The ceremony this year will end with a gala fashion show by veteran fashion designer Hajia Abba Folawiyo .
